Water Worx: Our Origin Story

Water Worx exists to RAISE STANDARDS, to build communities with a strong local economy, and to offering protection for our environment.

Water Worx is founded, owned and operated by CentralAlbertan water haulers, who help a variety of industries with their water needs, ultimately to build our local communities.
Founded in 2001, a local Father-Daughter team, Arthur and Asya Barker, believed that water haulers deserved a great filling experience that the local water authorities weren’t able to provide. While Asya ran the trucks, Arthur worked hard to build a partnership with the City of Red Deer, to help them to remove the staffing pressure and costs of offering high-standard commercial filling services and facilities.

Water Partnerships for Local Development

Water Worx raises standards around bulk water services that are essential to build communities. We have partnerships with industrial businesses and local governments in order to support our local economy. We reinvest proceeds into our local water supply, we protect public water sources from contamination, and we offer an alternative water source to natural water bodies in our environment.

Water Worx’s mission for the future is to continue to keep our service, speed and safety standards high, serving our water transporters who are dedicated to our local growth. Our goal is to expand our partnerships with other Cities, Towns and Counties who will also benefit from what Water Worx delivers to the greater community: ease, ecoconsciousness, financial benefits, and risk assurance.
